Mount Joy Borough has appointed Rachel Stebbins as the new community and economic development coordinator/grant writer. In this newly created role, Stebbins will spearhead efforts to enhance community life and economic vitality within the borough.
Stebbins is a local resident with a marketing background and deep-rooted community connections. Her involvement in various local boards, including her current role on the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, has provided her with insights into the needs and aspirations of the community.
As community and economic development coordinator/grant writer, Stebbins will be responsible for identifying, applying for, and managing grants aimed at bolstering Mount Joy's economic development initiatives. Additionally, she will work closely with diverse groups and stakeholders to coordinate efforts intended to build community engagement and support commerce.
