Manheim Township Public Library, 595 Granite Run Drive, Lancaster, will host the second annual Community Crow Invitational Art Show, the All-Crow Art Show, in January and February. The show will feature works by professional, amateur, and student artists. Highlights will include works by Deborah Diana, Mimi Shapiro, and Judy Smith; an art project from residents of Lancaster Youth Detention Center; and student artwork from J.P. McCaskey and Donegal high schools.
A reception will be held at the library on Friday, Jan. 15, at 5:30 p.m. Crow-themed food and beverages will be served.
On Friday, Feb. 19, at the Farewell To Crows Party, the Something To Crow About 2016 awards will be presented and attendees will have their final chance to view crow art. Crow-themed food and beverages will be served. The event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The show is part of Something To Crow About, an annual event celebrating the return of the migrating crows to Lancaster each winter. Something to Crow About features arts, education, and community tie-ins with crows as the theme. More information is available at http://www.SomethingToCrowAbout.net.
