Lancaster Public Library, 125 N. Duke St., will stay open on Friday, April 1, until 8 p.m. to debut two new exhibits. "A Look Into Small Town vs. City Living" by Lititz native and Pennsylvania College of Art & Design senior Illustration major Lexus Harris will feature contrasting watercolor portraits of individuals from Lititz and Lancaster city. "Abandoned Artistry" by urban explorer Candy Delaney is her first solo exhibit of conceptual fine art photography set in abandoned churches, schools, asylums, resorts, hospitals, prisons, industrial buildings and "transportation graveyards."
There will be an opportunity to meet the artists and enjoy light refreshments from 5:30 to 8 p.m., as well as to check out books, CDs and DVDs; browse the bookstore; and join in family activities.
