East Petersburg Mennonite Church (EPMC), 6279 Main St., East Petersburg, will welcome back musician Kevin Bruchert for a late afternoon of worship on Sunday, Jan. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. In August 2014, Bruchert led worship at the church as part of The Reckless Love Tour.
Bruchert previously ran a record company and toured with bands such as Mending Point. More recently, he has been known as a producer and co-songwriter for award-winning and critically acclaimed artists Jessa Anderson, The Ember Days, Royal Tailor, Abandon, and more. Several of his projects have been nominated for Grammy and Dove awards.
As a solo musician, Bruchert has released several unique worship projects. These include Your Reckless Love (2013), The Anchor Fellowship Live (2012), and The Seraphim Project's Seasons EP (2012).
Bruchert is described as an intimate worship leader who has a powerful way of leading audiences into God's presence through song and response. Currently, he is the worship pastor at Live Oak Christian Church in Bluffton, S.C. He is affiliated with and ordained for ministry by Anchor Mission USA. Bruchert is married and has three children.
"We invite you to worship together with us in these songs of declaration, hope, and wonder in the midst of our increasingly uncertain world," said EPMC associate pastor Jeff McLain, who will be ordained for ministry during the event. "(It) will be an evening of heartfelt and passionate praise and worship in which we expect the presence of God to be present with us and to move among us."
Everyone is welcome to attend the worship gathering. Child care will be provided. Refreshments will be served after the service.
