Blood Drives Slated January 16, 2019

The Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank will host blood drives at three Royer's Flowers and Gifts stores as part of "Buds for Blood."

On Thursday, Jan. 31, stores at 201 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster, and 805 Loucks Road, York, will host bloodmobiles from 3 to 6:30 p.m. The third blood drive is set for Saturday, March 16, at the Camp Hill store, 3015 Gettysburg Road, and will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Appointments are not needed, but donors should bring ID, eat within four hours of giving blood, and stay well hydrated. Orange juice and snacks will be provided after donating.

Church Plans Blood Drive January 9, 2019

Legion Post To Hold Blood Drive January 2, 2019

Austin L. Grove American Legion Post 403, 4035 Manchester St., Glen Rock, invites community members to donate blood to the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank (CPBB) during the post's first blood drive in 2019. The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m.

All donors must bring photo identification and must have eaten within four hours prior to donating blood. Donors must be at least age 16 and weigh more than 110 pounds. Church Plans Dinner And Blood Drive December 19, 2018

St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 45 First Ave., Red Lion, has planned a community meal and an American Red Cross blood drive.

The church will serve a pork and sauerkraut dinner on New Year's Eve, Monday, Dec. 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. The meal will consist of pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce, and a selection of desserts. The dinner is free, but reservations are requested by calling 717-244-2355.

Library Plans Blood Drive November 9, 2018

Milanof-Schock Library, 1184 Anderson Ferry Road, Mount Joy, has partnered with the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank for another community blood drive on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A Bloodmobile will be located in the library's parking lot.

All donors will receive a coupon good for a free movie rental at the library, two free admission vouchers to a comedy show, and coupons for pizza and ice cream. Blood Drive Scheduled May 14, 2018

A blood drive will be held on Saturday, May 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manheim Lodge 587, Free and Accepted Masons, 30 S. Linden St., Manheim.

The blood drive is affiliated with the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank. Any proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Lancaster Dyslexic Center.
