Dwyer-Sedlacek November 13, 2017

The wedding of Jan Lynne Sedlacek and Roger Lee Dwyer took place on Oct. 15 at Saint Mary's Chapel in Elverson.

The Rev. Bernard Maguire officiated at the ceremony, which was blessed by R. Alan Lindsay, Saint Mary's pastoral leader. The musician was Katie Rutt, and the soloist was Gayle Lindsay. This was the first wedding at Saint Mary's Chapel since it reopened in September 2013.

Jeannie Potts was the matron of honor, and Roger Lee Dwyer Jr. was best man. The bride was escorted by her children, Joelle Sedlacek and John Matlock.

She is employed as a kindergarten teacher.

The groom is the son of John and Tammy Meshey of Columbia. He attended Columbia High School and graduated from Kutztown University with a bachelor's degree in fine arts. He is employed as a graphic and interactive designer.

The maid of honor was Katrina Steinhofer. Bridesmaids were Leah Rossi, Jackie Kampf, Jill Schmeer, Jenn Carroll, Kristin Stoltzfuz, and Cortney Keller. The flower girl was Melody Monroe.

Serving as best man was Jarrett Swisher. Groomsmen were Yahya McIntyre, Albert Metz, John Schmeer, Derek Shive, Ryan Clark, and Bobby Schoelkopf.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore an allure romance antique ivory gown offset with decorative lace applique, beaded straps and waistband, scooped back, and layers of tulle. She carried a bouquet of mango mini callas, burgundy roses and kangaroo paws, burnt orange hypericum berries, orange-tinted solidao, burgundy cockscomb, and curly willow.

The reception was held at Meredith Manor.

For their wedding trip, the couple enjoyed a mini getaway to Jim Thorpe. They are planning a honeymoon to Ireland in the summer of 2018.
