International Sunday Planned

Highland Presbyterian Church, 500 E. Roseville Road, Lancaster, will host an International Sunday on Sunday, Aug. 13. Highland will host a faithful celebration in English, Spanish, and Swahili languages. In one blended worship service at 10 a.m., the music, language, and proclamation of three faith communities will be featured.

In addition to the Highland congregation, Lighthouse Imani Presbyterian Church, a fellowship of east African refugees, and the Resurrection Chapel/Iglesia Resurreccion Church, a Latino refugee ministry, will participate. Following the service, worshippers will join together to assemble welcome kits for future refugees to Lancaster County.

The morning will continue with an international potluck meal and fellowship at 11:50 a.m. in the church's fellowship hall. The lunch of favorite American, Hispanic, and African foods will be free, but registration is required.
