"Forever Plaid" was written by Stuart Ross in 1990 as an off-Broadway musical revue. It was released as a full-length movie in 2009. The plot revolves around a quartet of young men who return from the afterlife in an attempt to reach musical glory. The musical's soundtrack features classic songs such as "Moments to Remember," "Heart and Soul," and "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing."

The show has been double cast, as performances will also be given at select retirement communities and nursing homes. Attendees at the performances in Lititz and Ronks will see Ric Zimmerman as Jinks, Seth Garrett Antes as Frankie, Wally Calderon as Sparky, and Michael Lapham as Smudge. The actors have performed at professional theaters in Lancaster County.
