As the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program provider for York County, the Community Progress Council WIC Program offers later appointments at its York City office for working families. WIC provides supplemental food and nutrition education for pregnant and breastfeeding women, mothers who have given birth within the past six months, and infants and children up to age 5. Eligibility for WIC is based on income, residency, and medical/dietary-based conditions.
