First Presbyterian Church of Strasburg, 101 S. Decatur St., Strasburg, will celebrate its 55th anniversary of offering preschool services by holding a Family Fun Fest for the community. The event will take place from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1.

Free food will be provided, including hot dogs, pretzels, chips, slushies, cotton candy, and popcorn. A 62-foot inflatable obstacle course will be available, along with a smaller bounce house for younger attendees. A balloon animal artist will fill requests, and Paradise Station will give rides on its electric trackless train. Other activities will include face painting, hair tinsel, and games with prizes. Bicycle Pie will host story times throughout the festival, and other community agencies, such as the Strasburg Heritage Society, will offer free activities.

The parking lot will be closed due to the activities, but parking will be available at nearby venues, such as Wesley United Methodist Church, Bachman Snyder Funeral Home, and St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
