Paradise Rotary Club recently honored the Students of the Month for March. The honorees were juniors Sara Geleta from Conestoga Valley High School, Charlize Ganse from Lancaster Mennonite School and Tre Rosa from Pequea Valley High School.
Sara is the daughter of Solomon Geleta and Gete Buli of Lancaster. She is treasurer for Mock Trial and a member of PoWER, WLA, and SADD. In her sophomore and junior years, she was involved in the drama department and was listed on the honor roll. Outside school, Sara is a Sunday school teacher.
Charlize is the daughter of Jeremy and Lisa Ganse of Lititz. She has been listed on the honor roll, and she is a member of National Honor Society and the Junior Class Committee. A field hockey and track team member, Charlize was an L-L League Section 4 Second Team All-Star.
Tre is the son of Ben and Becky Rosa of Gordonville. He is class president, secretary of Student Council, and a member of National Honor Society, the Stage 772 theater group, choir, Chamber Singers, and the Spring Fling committee. He also manages the girls' basketball team. An FFA member, Tre earned the FFA Greenhand Degree, placed third in the state in the Teach Ag! 2021 essay contest, and earned the YQCA certification.
