Club Installs New Officers

The Millersville Woman's Club recently installed its officers for the 2026-27 club year. The officers are Karen Choppa, president; Barbara Forrey, first vice president; Barbara Buchko, second vice president; Nancy Dornsife, corresponding secretary; Pam Smith, recording secretary; and Linda Davis, treasurer.

The installation luncheon was held on May 19 at the Bolger Conference Center at Millersville University. The hostesses were Linda Davis and Louise Brown, and the installation ceremony was written by Davis and conducted by Brown. The theme of the event centered on the idea that, just as the different fruits that make up a salad bowl operate in conjunction, all officers and members of the women's club must work together to accomplish the group's goals. In keeping with this theme, each officer was presented with a different fruit, as well as a description of her fruit and how it is like the responsibilities of the recipient's office.

The main purpose of the club is to provide scholarships to both Penn Manor and Lancaster County Career & Technology Center seniors. The club is open to all women living in the Millersville area. For more information, call 717-344-7457 or 717-951-2170.
