Lancaster Mennonite (LM) School will hold its annual Spring Celebration: Auction and Chicken BBQ fundraiser event on Saturday, April 26.

There is a discount for the chicken barbecue for those who preregister by Friday, April 11. Food will be available at full price on the day of the event while supplies last.

The event will feature a plant sale, a bake sale, and stage performances. Kids' activities will include balloon animals, face painting, barrel train rides, spin art, an inflatable bounce castle and obstacle course, carnival games, photos with Elsa and Olaf, a petting zoo, STEM activities, and a community art mural.

In addition, LM will host its 29th annual benefit golf tournament on Tuesday, May 13, at Meadia Heights Golf Club, 402 Golf Road, Lancaster. Funds from the event will help to make faith-based education at LM accessible to more students through the Annual Fund.

Golfers may choose to participate in the morning or afternoon round. Registration for the morning round will start at 7 a.m.; breakfast will be served at this time. The tournament will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the awarding of prizes at noon.

Registration for the afternoon round will begin at 12:30 p.m., and a light lunch will be available. The tournament will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by dinner and prizes at 6 p.m.

Participants may create a women's, men's, mixed, or senior foursome, or register as a single or double to be placed with a foursome for the day. Team and individual skill prizes will be awarded, with team prizes given for men's, women's, mixed, and senior teams.

Golfers will have the opportunity to purchase mulligans and entry in day-of competitions. There will also be a prize for any player who obtains a hole in one on a designated hole.
