Local musicians have agreed to unite again in 2021 to create the third annual "Joy to the Burg" Christmas album to benefit people experiencing homelessness. Albums are scheduled to go on sale in November, and proceeds will support the homelessness ministries of Christian Churches United (CCU) in Harrisburg.

This year, a music festival at The Englewood in Hershey has been added on the afternoon of Sunday, Dec. 12. At least six of the bands will perform live at the event.

Funds raised by "Joy to the Burg" will go toward continuing expanded winter walk-in shelter operations for both men and women in Harrisburg as well as efforts to help those living on the street to secure long-term housing. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
