Berks County's Best Kept Secrets Tour will take place from Thursday, Nov. 5, to Saturday, Nov. 21. Tour participants may explore 45 independently owned businesses, each chosen for its creativity, character, and contribution to the county's small‑business community.

This year's tour will showcase an eclectic mix of stops, including a bookstore inside a historic firehouse, a leather crafter working from a restored stone barn, a jewelry maker tucked into a replica Bavarian village, and a specialty shop dedicated to all things olive. Food lovers may enjoy locally made cheeses, craft sandwiches, specialty breakfasts, pretzels, apple‑cider slushies, sweet treats, and more.

Participants will travel at their own pace in their own vehicles, choosing the stops that spark their curiosity. Every business will offer a coupon and a unique experience, such as a game, gift, demonstration, tour, or make‑and‑take craft, or live music. Tickets are valid for all days of the tour.

The first 1,500 ticket purchasers will receive a free goodie bag filled with treats and promotional items from participating businesses. Each ticket booklet includes a detailed guide, maps, event calendars, coupons, and entry forms for giveaway drawings for gift cards.

A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated to a local nonprofit. To date, the Best Kept Secrets Tours have contributed over $168,000 to charities across the region. This year's beneficiary is Connections Work, an organization dedicated to strengthening workforce readiness and community stability.
