Library Posts "Dare to Declare" Program

Honey Brook Community Library, 687 Compass Road, Honey Brook, will host "Dare to Declare" on Saturday, May 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the community room.

Community members can celebrate America's 250th anniversary and learn about local Honey Brook organizations. Organizations will be present to answer questions and provide information on how to join or volunteer. Some of the organizations attending include Friends of the Honey Brook Library, Girl Scouts, Honey Brook American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 422, Honey Brook Lions Club, Honey Brook Partnership, Honey Brook Women's Club, Knights of Columbus, Shepherd's Kitchen, and Tel Hai Camp & Retreat.

At noon, there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence by state Sen. Katie Muth and state Rep. Dan Williams.
