Village Library Posts Programs

The Village Library of Morgantown, 207 N. Walnut St., has posted its upcoming activities.

Story Time with Miss Pam will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 23; Wednesday, April 29; and Thursday, April 30. Children birth through kindergarten may attend for stories, songs, and activities. The theme will be "Earth Day" on April 23 and "I Love Bugs" on April 29 and 30.

MCC Stitches will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 25. People of all ages and levels of fiber arts experience are welcome to participate. Attendees will create items to donate. Supplies will be provided, and instruction will be available in crocheting, knitting, and using a loom. The program will also include fellowship and prayer.

Pinochle, a new program, will be offered on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. in the community room. Adults with any level of experience with pinochle are welcome, and the library will provide the cards. No registration is required.

Tai chi will be available to adults on Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m. in the community room.

Chess will be offered on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to noon. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.
