Program to Explore Historical Uses of Herbs

The Historical Society of Salisbury Township will meet on Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. at the Salisbury Township Building, 5581 Old Philadelphia Pike, Gap.

Tanya Kevorkian will speak about how Lancaster County's Indigenous people and colonists used local herbs for healing and cooking between 1500 and 1900. Kevorkian holds a Ph.D. and is a professor of history at Millersville University.
