Christmas in July Craft Fair Set

Ware Presbyterian Village will host a Christmas in July Craft Fair on Saturday, July 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pavilion at Vista Ridge, 1162 Kensington Lane, Oxford. This year, a 10th Anniversary Preview Party will take place on Friday, July 17.

Christmas in July will feature more than 50 local vendors offering handmade items for sale, as well as vendors from Ware Village. The available wares will include fresh-cut flowers; birdhouses; soaps and lotions; candles; knitted, crocheted, and embroidered items; recycled jewelry; wreaths; educational children's books; games; puppets and puzzles; push toys; beaded jewelry; handmade note cards; and beeswax items. New this year, a Retro Christmas Shop will offer holiday items donated by residents. Food will be available, including truffles, jams and jellies, raw honey, shortbread cookies, and cake pops. Bag lunches will also be offered.

The preview party on July 17 will run from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ware Mansion, 3 Mansion Circle, Oxford. From 6 to 6:45 p.m., attendees may enjoy social time and refreshments. Door prizes will be awarded, and guests may view a model train display. Christmas in July is the primary fundraiser for the Ware Village Auxiliary, which is run entirely by residents. All proceeds will directly benefit residents in the health center and assisted living communities, including providing holiday activities. The Ware Village Auxiliary is funded solely through fundraisers and donations from residents.
