The annual Celtic Fling and Highland Games at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28. The Faire is located at 2775 Lebanon Road, Manheim.

Ally the Piper will make her return to the Celtic Fling after her debut last year. Ally is a multi-instrumentalist who specializes in Celtic instrumentation and became a world champion performing on the Highland bagpipe at age 16. She performs through her various social platforms, where she has amassed nearly 3 million followers. Additional performers featured both days will include Bealtaine, Ben Traverse Band, Dennis Doyle and Austin Doyle, Gaelic Mishap, Hold Fast, House of Hamill, Kilmaine Saints, Quittapahilla Highlanders, Runa, Seasons, and the Tartan Terrors.

Visitors may witness traditional Highland Games heavy events officially sanctioned by the Mid-Atlantic Scottish Athletics Association. Bosworth Field will play host to the open men's competition on June 27 and the men over 40 and women's competitions on June 28.

Celtic heritage will be represented through blacksmithing and glassblowing demonstrations, performances by the Hooley School of Irish Dance, Irish storytelling, a traditional Irish wake, and members of Celtic clans and societies. The Diocese of Harrisburg will present a Catholic Mass in the morning on June 28 in the Barn & Barrel at Mount Hope. The Taproom & Grille will serve an Irish brunch on June 28 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

In addition to over 100 resident Faire shops, a variety of guest merchants will add their wares to the 40-acre shopping experience. Faire kitchens will serve themed Celtic menu options in addition to traditional festival food items. Pour houses will serve Mount Hope Estate's craft beverages, including beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails.
