Bethel United Methodist Church (UMC), 1674 Furnace Road, Brogue, will host a community meal and concert on Sunday, July 26. The event is free of charge.

At 5 p.m., the meal will be available in the social hall. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, chips, and dessert.

At approximately 6 p.m., Summit Hill Bluegrass will perform a variety of music, including bluegrass and gospel, in the sanctuary. The group is based in southeastern Pennsylvania, and it has performed throughout the area, including at Knoebels Amusement Resort, in the Pocono Mountains, in Strasburg, in Wilmington, Del., and at other events throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Bethel UMC offers a worship service at 9 a.m. each Sunday followed by small group Bible discussion at 10:15 a.m. All are invited to attend. Beth Holz is the church's pastor.
