Program to Focus on Colonial Taverns

The Friends of Hopewell Furnace will hold a presentation, "Colonial Taverns: Where a Revolution Was Brewing," on Sunday, Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. The program will take place at the Hopewell Furnace Visitor Center, 2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson. Chester County Park Ranger Jay Erb will speak about Colonial taverns, which were the site of conversations that led to the American Revolution.

Admission is free. Seating is limited.
