What is the mission of the Grotto Community Center?

We are a platform for economic development and a space for community building where the arts, entrepreneurship, and education are promoted as we seek to build a collaborative environment where new ideas grow.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

The Grotto Community Center is excited to share what we have been doing in the short time we have been open. We have seen our community expand, with many small businesses taking up residence in our space. We have had some great programming in the form of Lunch and Learn programs that provide business-focused instruction and Grotto Presents panel events that showcase our community members and give the public the opportunity to learn more about some of the local businesses and artists operating in downtown York.
