What is the mission of York County History Center?

The York County History Center inspires the exploration of the history, people, and culture of our county, state, and nation.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

The York County History Center is swinging open the doors of its Historic Society Building, Agricultural and Industrial Museum, and Colonial Complex to celebrate Give Local York with a free day of programming for individuals and families. We want to connect Yorkers with our past through genealogical research and educational programs in a fun way. Give Local York provides a tremendous opportunity to show folks that when we say, "Your history starts here," we mean it.
