Phyllis Prodan, board member, talked about the organization and its participation in Give Local York, a countywide day of fundraising set for May 1:

What is the mission of Just4TodaySoberLiving?

We are a sober living facility available to assist alcoholics and individuals with substance abuse issues. We have employed a part-time case manager who assists each client through counseling and restore services.

Why is the organization excited to participate in Give Local York this year?

Just4TodaySoberLiving currently has six houses: five are for men and one for women. The sober living program helps the clients learn how to remain sober, become employed and maintain a job, and volunteer, as well as attend 12-step programs to support their progress.

Just4TodaySoberLiving is located in southern York County. Our goal is to have sustainable funds to help the many people trying to reintegrate into a better lifestyle.
