New Scholarship Opportunity Posted

The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) announced a new scholarship opportunity available to all Pennsylvanian graduating high school seniors. The Big 33 Academic Scholarship will support students attending an accredited college, university, or technical school following high school graduation. Multiple students each year will be selected to receive awards valued up to $2,000 each. All eligible students from the Class of 2021 are encouraged to apply.

To be eligible, a student must be a high school senior in a public or accredited private school in Pennsylvania; attain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average for 10th and 11th grades; plan to attend an accredited institution of high learning or technical school; and exhibit traits such as academic achievement, community service, financial need, leadership, obstacles overcome, special talents, and unique endeavors.

TFEC is one of 46 partners with the American Education Services (AES)/PHEAA's Partnerships for Access to Higher Education (PATH) Program. As a participating organization, TFEC scholarship recipients are eligible to have their awards matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $3,000 by AES/PHEAA's PATH Program.
