Library Posts Virtual Programs

The Eastern Lancaster County Library, 11 Chestnut Drive, New Holland, has posted announcements and upcoming programs. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The library is closed on Fridays and Sundays.

Face masks that cover the mouth and nose are required for entry for everyone over age 2. Those who are unable to wear a mask may use the no-contact self-pickup service; they may call 717-354-0525 to make arrangements for pickups. There is currently no seating for quiet study, research, reading, or meetings, and public access computers are currently not available.

All library materials will be quarantined for a full week before they are checked in, so turn-around time will be longer than normal. Items will remain on the patron's library account for up to seven days after they have been returned; to avoid fines, patrons should not renew items they know they have returned. All items will be backdated when checked in to account for quarantine time.

All library events are offered online. They can be found on the event calendar at http://www.elancolibrary.org. Readers may also find the library on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, and Twitter.

All the electronic resources, including the e-book and e-audiobook collections, continue to be available at https://lancasterlibraries.overdrive.com/ and http://online.lancasterlibraries.org/.
