Safe Communities Plans Retreat

Safe Communites will hold a "Journey With Tamar" retreat for adult survivors of child sexual abuse on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Neffsville Mennonite Church, 2371 Lititz Pike, Lancaster.

Attendees will discuss the Old Testament story of Tamar, daughter of King David, and what the story tells them about healing, resilience, and hope. Through art, journaling, and discussion, participants will explore how their stories relate to surviving and resilience.
