Extension Hires Clawson

Penn State Extension Lancaster County has announced that Becky Clawson has been selected as an Extension educator to join its Energy, Business and Community Vitality program team. Clawson will serve Lancaster and Berks counties.

Clawson joins a team of over 20 educators, assistants and staff members covering 4-H youth development; agronomy and natural resources; animal science; food, families and health; food safety and quality; and horticulture.

Becky Clawson comes from a farming family in rural northcentral Pennsylvania. She received a degree in biology from Pennsylvania College of Technology and a degree in communications from Temple University. Her previous positions have included business membership and Buy Fresh Buy Local coordinator at the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA), wholesale and CSA manager at Taproot Farm in Berks County, and senior wholesale consultant at Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative.
