Community Calendar

The Community Calendar is a weekly feature of the Community Courier.

Local clubs, civic organizations, nonprofit agencies, schools, etc., that would like to have events or meeting date information published, should contact the Community Courier in writing at least two weeks before the event. No items will be accepted over the phone.

Story Time

Honey Brook Community Library will present Story Time with Miss Jennifer on Facebook on Wednesday, Jan. 27, and every Wednesday through Feb. 24, starting at 10 a.m. "Like" Honey Brook Community Library on Facebook for more details and to access the live story time.

Story Time craft packets can be picked up at the back door of the library, 687 Compass Road (Route 10), Honey Brook, for the winter session. Children may watch live or at any time after it is posted. Story time is designed for preschool aged children, but appropriate for all ages.

Soup Collection

Sunday, Feb 7, is National Souper Bowl Day. The outreach committee from St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Birdsboro, will once again collect soup for the Hopewell Love Food Pantry.

Church members will accept donations at Boyer's Food Market, 200 W. First St., Birdsboro, on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m.; Friday, Feb. 5, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Virtual Scavenger Hunt

The Village Library of Morgantown will present a virtual scavenger hunt via Zoom on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. Points will be awarded, and a winner will be chosen.

Neighbors Meeting

Neighbors Caring and Sharing, a Christian women's group that meets weekly at Conestoga Mennonite Church in Morgantown, will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at from 9:15 to 11 a.m. The program will be a DVD Bible study, "Armor of God." Part four, "The Shoes of Peace," will be the topic.
