Tax-Aide Sites Now Available

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide sites are now open in York County. Continuing through Thursday, April 15, AARP Foundation will provide in-person tax assistance and preparation through its Tax-Aide program. The program is completely free, and AARP membership is not required.

The locations in York County include Living Word Community Church, 2530 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion, 717-771-9042; Messiah United Methodist Church (UMC), 1300 N. Beaver St., York, 717-771-9042; Dover Area Community Library, 3700 Davidsburg Road, Dover, 717-292-6814; Aldersgate UMC, 397 Tyler Run Road, York, 717-771-9042; Hanover Church of the Brethren, 601 Wilson Ave., Hanover, 717-633-6353; Union Fire Company, 201 York St., Manchester, 717-771-9042; Trinity Lutheran Church, 243 Hellam St., Wrightsville, 717-478-8588; Red Land Senior Center, 736 Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry, 717-938-4649; and Wrightsville Hope UMC, 404 Hellam St., Wrightsville, 717-478-8588. Appointments are required.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is a volunteer-run free tax preparation service. Volunteers are trained and IRS-certified every year to ensure they understand the latest changes to the U.S. Tax Code. The program is offered at approximately 283 sites in Pennsylvania, including senior centers, libraries, and churches.
