"Blind Date With A Book" Program Set

Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Hill Road, Lititz, is offering the Blind Date With a Book program through Monday, Feb. 15. The program is meant to offer a fun way to try new books that one might pass by while browsing in the aisles.

Community members are invited to visit the special display in the library to choose a wrapped book based on one "pickup line." Readers will not find out the name of the book, the author, or the genre until they check the book out, take it home and unwrap it. After finishing the book, readers may fill out a "Rate Your Date" card that will be tucked in the book. They can report that the outcome was True Love, Only Friends, or Never Again. When readers return the unwrapped book to the library, they may place the completed "Rate Your Date" card into the valentine heart box for a chance to win a gift basket.
