Good News Clubs Begin Meeting

Good News Clubs have begun meeting in Lancaster County. These are Bible-based clubs sponsored by Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Lancaster County that meet after school at various locations throughout the county as well as online via Zoom. Good News Clubs are free to children in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Several clubs have begun meeting during the week of Feb. 22. This semester's curriculum is "God's Love: Hope for the Outcast." Clubs meeting in person follow all CDC guidelines, and masks are required for children to attend. Meetings include Bible lessons, missionary stories, Bible verses, small group mentoring, snacks and games. Online Zoom clubs are adapted to include the Bible lesson, Bible verse, prayer time and games.

All volunteers undergo rigorous training and have attained both their Pennsylvania criminal background check and Pennsylvania child abuse clearance to ensure a safe environment for students.
