March Book Sale Slated

The Friends of the Moores Memorial Library will hold a large book sale in the bookstore at the library, 9 W. Slokom Ave., Christiana, through Saturday, March 6. The sale will take place on Wednesday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Thursday, March 4, from 1 to 7 p.m.; Friday, March 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and March 6 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The Friends are doing spring cleaning to make way for future donations. All regularly priced books, DVDs, and CDs in the bookstore and bargain room are included in the sale. Customers may either fill a library-supplied bag for a set price or bring their own bag or box and purchase materials by the pound with a one-pound minimum. On March 6, all remaining materials will be half-price.

Due to changing COVID-19 restrictions, visitors should call the library at 610-593-6683 in advance to confirm hours. Social distancing and customer limits will be in effect for the sale. Masks are required for all patrons. All books and other materials have been disinfected and quarantined.
