Atlantic League Plans Season

The Atlantic League announced recently that it will open its 23rd official championship season on Friday, May 28. League officials will work with team executives on additional details of the 2021 season, including COVID-19-related safety protocols.

The league is finalizing the admission of new teams, conducting player signings, and working with its Major League Baseball partners on test initiatives for the 2021 campaign. Mindful of government safety concerns, especially ballpark attendance allowances, the league felt it was critical to announce its intention to play a full season this year.

Additional details regarding the full 2021 season are forthcoming. For more information, readers may visit http://www.atlanticleague.com.
