The Preschool at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, will host open houses on Thursday, April 15, and Friday, April 16, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Families will be able to see the classroom and visit with the teacher.

The school offers prekindergarten for 4-year-olds on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and preschool for 3-year-olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon. The curriculum is based on the prekindergarten-level Pennsylvania Learning Standards for Early Childhood, and activities focus on development in language and literacy, math, social studies, science, health and wellness, social and emotional skills and creative expression and thinking.

The school seeks to provide a safe, educational environment in a Christian setting where the school fosters intellectual, moral and spiritual development. The school's mission is to nurture, teach and prepare children for kindergarten in keeping with the guidelines and expectations of the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
