Rotary Club Lauds Students

Lancaster Sunrise Rotary Club has recognized seniors Genesis Arauz and Shane Mundorf as the Manheim Township High School Students of the Month for February. They were selected for their school and community activities, leadership and achievements.

Arauz's favorite subjects are biology and Spanish. She is a member of Key Club and Mini-THON, a Link Crew leader, an Attollo Scholar, and a National Honor Society inductee. She has been listed on the first honor roll for the past four years. Arauz participated in a mission trip to Ecuador in 2017.

Mundorf's favorite subject is history. He is class treasurer, boys' soccer team captain, and a member of Student Awareness and National Honor Society. He volunteered at the food drive at the Barnstormers' stadium, he is an usher for school plays and musicals, and he is the head coach for the Lil' Kickers children's soccer program. Mundorf was named a Lancaster-Lebanon League boys' soccer All-Star and Section One Player of the Year for the 2020 season.
