Rotary Club Honors Students

The Paradise Rotary Club announced its Students of the Month for April, all of whom are high school juniors. The honorees are Yoseph Chung from Lancaster Mennonite, Kassandra Horning from Conestoga Valley, and Kylie McGowan from Pequea Valley. The students were honored on April 12.

Yoseph is the son of Kihuan Chong and Eunjeng Lee of Lancaster. He is a student ambassador as well as a member of the varsity soccer team and chess team.

Kassandra is the daughter of Jonathon and Kristina Horning of Ephrata. She is a member of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Link Crew, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is also on the volleyball, basketball, and softball teams at CV and serves in children's ministry at Worship Center. Kassandra has been named an Academic All-Star for three separate seasons.

Kylie is the daughter of Chris and Sheri McGowan of Gap. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. In addition, she is a member of the musical program, choir and chamber singers as well as the Spring Fling team. Kylie served as vice president of her class as a sophomore and junior and is also active with the Keystone Youth Group as a Core Team member.
