The Pennsylvania Family Institute will offer an event at Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Road, Elizabethtown, on Friday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to noon. The purpose of the event, "Standing for Truth in a Dying and Lying World," is to equip church leaders such as pastors and staff, but it is open to anyone.

The event will include breakfast, a panel discussion, a question-and-answer session, and prayer. Participants will be Judge Cheryl Allen, who is retired from the Pennsylvania Superior Court; Kurt Weaver, director of Church Ambassador Network; pastor Joseph Green from St. Paul's Missionary Baptist Church; and Jeremy Samek, senior counsel for Independence Law Center. Topics of the panel discussion will include religious freedom, church engagement, cultural progressivism, and the May election.
