Art Walk To Feature Student Work

The Arts at Millersville at the Ware Center will present works of art created by students from the School District of Lancaster during Art Walk, running from Friday, May 7, through Sunday, May 9. Although the building is not currently open to the public, the art will be visible through the windows on the Lyet Lobby at the Ware Center, 42 N. Prince St., Lancaster.

The School District of Lancaster will exhibit artwork from selected students representing the elementary, middle, and high school art departments. For many years, district schools have been displaying student art works by students from kindergarten through grade 12 as part of Lancaster Art Walk, with Millersville University's Ware Center being the host in the most recent years. Due to the pandemic, an in-person show was not possible last spring, but some schools were able to host virtual shows. This year's event marks a return to a physical art show. This exhibit will include a number of digital art projects that have been printed for the physical display, as well as physical art projects, much like the schools have exhibited in the past.
