Groups affiliated with American Legion Post 594 have scheduled two events.

Sons of the American Legion will hold a Mother's Day flower sale at American Legion Post 594, 137 E. High St., Middletown, on Thursday, May 6, from noon to dusk and on Friday, May 7, through Sunday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to dusk or until sold out.

The Post 594 Legion Riders will hold a benefit and ride for Sherri Quaca, who is fighting cancer, on Saturday, May 22. Registration will take place from 9 to 10:45 a.m., and the ride will start at 11 a.m. Food and beverages will be served at Post 594.
