UAC Appoints New Chief Of Operations

Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (UAC) recently announced the appointment of Tammy Whiteman as its chief of operations. UAC is a nonprofit agency committed to protecting the health of families and communities in Chester County through live-saving emergency medical services, professional training, and public education.

Whiteman most recently served as the advanced life support coordinator at the Chester County Department of Emergency Services. She has been an emergency medical provider in Chester County for 15 years, working in the field and in leadership positions in multiple Chester County EMS organizations.

Whiteman received her paramedic certification in 2001 from Good Fellowship Ambulance Training Institute. In 2017, she was named the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council's ALS Provider of the Year and received the Chester County EMS Council's President's Award. These honors were in recognition of her exemplary work in community education and outreach throughout Chester County.
