Elizabeth Luscavage, daughter of Joe and Lonnie Luscavage of Cochranville, received her Bachelor of Science with honors from Elizabethtown College on May 15. Majoring in biology with a minor in studio/fine arts, she was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and Elizabethtown's Honors Program. She was also a research assistant, investigating ways to control rusty crayfish in local ecosystems. A small outdoor ceremony was held in the Dell on campus, where Elizabeth was recognized by the Department of Biology with the Departmental Honors Award and the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.

Her future plans include postgraduate studies at Salus University's Pennsylvania College of Optometry, to begin in August. This four-year doctoral program is located in Elkins Park. Elizabeth is a 2017 graduate of Octorara High School.
