Troutman Earns Sports Honor

After its best season in a decade, the Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) Royals field hockey team had two standout players selected to the All-ODAC Second Team. One of the players honored was Brandy Troutman of Mountville.

Troutman earned her second All-ODAC Second Team selection, having received the award after the 2019 season, as well. The junior led the nation in defensive saves with eight in the shortened season after setting an EMU record with 17 as a sophomore.

Troutman also played a significant role on the offensive end for the Royals. She notched three goals on the season, scoring one per game during a stretch of three consecutive wins for EMU.

Troutman earned ODAC Player of the Week during the season, as well as grabbing her second Royals Athlete of the Week accolade.
