St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 222 N. Broad St., Lititz, will host a vacation Bible school (VBS) from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, July 19, through Thursday, July 22, for children age 4 through students entering grade six in the fall. The theme will be "Discovery on Adventure Island - Finding God's Great Light."

There will be crafts, games, a Bible story, music, and snack each night. On Friday, July 23, the church will host an outdoor picnic at 6 p.m. VBS participants will perform a brief program after the picnic. A freewill offering will be received to benefit Heifer International, whose mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the earth.
