Friendly Valley Senior Girl Scout Troop 70569 partnered with Brownie Girl Scout Troop 71308 from Brownstown to teach them camping skills and to help them earn their Eco Friend badge at French Creek State Park.

The Seniors taught the Brownie Girl Scouts how to set up tents, campfire safety, and how to light and cook over a campfire. The Brownies learned the seven principles of Leave No Trace and practiced these principles on a nature hike. They learned how to protect animal homes in the wild and witnessed the Brood X cicadas emerging from the ground.
