Susquehanna Insurance, an independent insurance agency, has acquired Affinity Insurance Associates, an Erie Insurance agency in Lititz that specializes in personal lines of property and casualty insurance. The acquisition was effective on July 1.

The acquisition of Affinity Insurance Associates fits into Susquehanna Insurance's strategy to accelerate Susquehanna's role as a leading provider of insurance by doubling down on the customer experience and bringing clarity and simplicity to customers' insurance needs. By purchasing Affinity Insurance, Susquehanna seeks to strengthen its portfolio of personal lines of insurance and gain a key second location in the growing market of Lititz.

The acquisition will bring Susquehanna's internal infrastructure and customer experience to Affinity customers, which includes 24/7 access to a live agent. Susquehanna Insurance plans to bring new jobs, business opportunities and investments into the Lititz community with the second location.
