Servant Stage Revives Gospel Music Show

After an absence of several years, Servant Stage's "Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour" is touring across Lancaster County and beyond in July and August. The show is staged as an old-time radio broadcast, featuring six fictitious musical groups with varying sounds and styles. Groups include the Backwoods Boys, Gospel Jubilee Singers, and Southern Gentlemen Vocal Band. The show combines Southern gospel harmonies, bluegrass instrumentals, radio comedy, and a large cast of local musicians of all ages.

"Old-Time Gospel Radio Hour" will be performed at a variety of venues across Lancaster, York, and Lebanon counties, including Lititz Springs Park, 24 N. Broad St., Lititz, on Sunday, Aug. 8, at 3 and 7 p.m., as well as Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster, on Friday, Aug. 13, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 14, at 3 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 15, at 3 p.m.

All performances are offered at pay-what-you-will prices, as part of Servant Stage's mission to make the arts accessible to everyone in the community. To reserve tickets or for more information, visit http://www.servantstage.org or call 717-455-0255.
