Three Creek Century Bike Ride Slated

Harrisburg Bicycle Club's Three Creek Century will be held at the Penn Township Fire Department Complex, 1750 Pine Road, Newville, on Sunday, Sept. 19. Registration includes lunch, snacks, beverages, and SAG support. Reduced registration fees will be in effect until Sunday, Aug.15.

This fully supported event will feature low-traffic country roads with scenic creekside riding and mountain views and will include route choices of 25, 50, 75, and 100 miles, as well as the option to ride 18 miles on the traffic-free Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. Riders will also have the option to add the 4-mile gradual climb to the top of Kings Gap State Park for Cumberland Valley views.

Proceeds from the Three Creek Century will be used to fund the club's community grant program, which provides funding for several bicycling-related nonprofit charities and covers operating expenses for the club.

All CDC-recommended COVID guidelines will be followed. Registration and other details are located at http://www.threecreekcentury.com.
