Iandolo Named Chair Of York Heart Walk

The American Heart Association has named Joseph Iandolo as the 2021 York Heart Walk chair. In this role, Iandolo is charged with a $63,000 fundraising goal to support the work of the American Heart Association.

Iandolo, vice president of operations at UPMC Memorial, has over 25 years of experience in health care management and in the clinical setting as a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist. In addition to leading the Heart Walk, he previously served on the American Heart Association's board of directors in Lancaster and York counties.

Iandolo received his undergraduate degree in biology from York College of Pennsylvania, with a certification in nuclear medicine from the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences. He also holds a master's degree in business administration from Lebanon Valley College.

The York Heart Walk will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, at John Rudy County Park, 400 Mundis Race Road, York. The Heart Walk unites the community in celebrating health and honoring survivors. The funds raised through the York Heart Walk fund the mission of the American Heart Association to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives and support the association's 2024 Health Equity Impact Goal to reduce barriers to health care access and quality.
